Small blessings

In case you some how missed Mike Griffin’s blog post on cool things that happened today then you really should check it out and all the other posts that it inspired afterwards. The idea of trying to notice the good little moments in your day really appealed to me so I tried to keep a note throughout the day of all the great moments that happened. Unfortunately I was a little busy so I didn’t really have time to record the best moments of the day. Instead I thought I’d show you the amazing moments that happened this week.

Reading a great Blog post by Mike Griffin about great little things that happened during his day

Being introduced to this video by one of my students. [skip to 0:34 seconds]

My boss lending me breaking bad series 1 so I could finally discover what the fuss is about.

Finishing Breaking Bad series 1 by the end of the week/

The first day in 2 weeks with no rain!

A student deciding they should do the tougher exam rather than the easier one. Both of which they could pass.

My topic being chosen for #eltchat (even if I couldn’t attend)

Realising a cover class is next week but being prepared this week (giving me some time to read)

Good Spanish coffee

Discovering a really simple but brilliant new lesson that can be used with almost any group.

Sorting out my travel back to England and Barcelona for the holiday.

Realising that my “hard work” groups aren’t as difficult as I thought (though still need a lot of prep)

Did more work and reading for my DELTA

I’m sure there were more things I could/should have included but these are just a small taste of the little blessing that filled my week. If you haven’t already then join in with the blog challenge.
